CIR Annual Auction Sponsored By The Battle Creek Rotary Club
The community attended and supported Community Inclusive Recreation and Battle Creek Rotary Club for their 12th Annual Auction, at McCamly Plaza Hotel, on Monday, March 9th.
Approximately one-hundred and seventy-five community members and Battle Creek Rotarians successfully raised over $39,500 for Community Inclusive Recreation's programs, scholarships and transportation.
Linda Linke, CEO and Founder of CIR stated "We are thrilled and extremely pleased that this year's auction was our second most successful auction ever, and its success is because of the support of our community who believe in the need of an inclusive community and the CIR mission, which states that people of all abilities can develop artist, social, civic, leadership and career building skills to achieve their goals".
The auction ended on a great highlight when Evelyn Jenkins, a participant artist at CIR drew the winning Harley Davidson raffle ticket that belonged to David Wilcox of East Leroy. David is the proud owner of a Harley Davisson XL 883 motorcycle. The winner of the Auction Raffle was Sharon Ohm.
CIR wishes to thank the Battle Creek Rotary Club for their support everyone that donated, purchased and/or attended this year's auction.
