It’s hard to believe that another year has passed and that planning is well underway for Community Inclusive Recreation’s Annual Auction, sponsored by the Battle Creek Rotary Club. In the past, you have been a supporter of CIR’s largest fundraiser of the year. I hope that we can count on your generosity again this year.
Our Auction attendees can expect some additional perks this year. We hope to incorporate a variety of food stations, new and exciting auction items, and decorations featuring a Las Vegas theme. The auctioneer's gavel is scheduled to drop on April 19th at the Battle Creek Country Club.
CIR has celebrated several accomplishments over the past year, including creating a new mission statement, and partnering with Detroit Lions, Drew Stanton's High 5ive Foundation for our First Annual Kickball Classic. In 2012 we will continue to focus on becoming a community led resource that reduces barriers to personal growth and opportunities for vulnerable populations.
This year’s goal is to raise $75,000 that will provide supports to our programs, for both ETC ARTS Studio and community wide recreation, and health and wellness programs. Your donation will help provide scholarship opportunities and community access for those who need supports. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the participants and programs of Community Inclusive Recreation. You can help us reach this goal by generously donating goods, services, or wine to the auction.
